Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • ¾ cup salted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups 1-minute oats use quick oats
  • ¼ cup powdered milk
  • 3.4 ounce instant cheesecake or vanilla pudding unprepared

Preparation Steps

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, add the butter, sugar, and milk over and cook on medium-high heat.
  • Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat then add in the vanilla, oatmeal, powdered milk, and dry pudding mix.
  • Stir quickly until fully combined.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop or your mixing spoon to drop the mixture onto parchment paper.
  • Top with sprinkles, if desired.
  • Allow the cookies to sit for 1 hour to firm up.

Notes

Be sure to only use quick oats for this recipe. You can freeze these cookies. Depending on the size of your cookies, you may end up with more or less than 24 cookies. You can double this recipe very easily. Avoid making these cookies when it's humid as they won't set right.
