  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling 21 oz each
  • 1 block cream cheese 8 oz, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup chopped pecans optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
  • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dollop this mixture over the strawberries.
  • Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
