Squash and Butter

  • 2 pieces acorn squashes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the acorn squashes in half and scoop out the seeds.
  • Place the squash halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  • Melt the butter and mix it with honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the honey butter mixture over the cut sides of the squash.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the squash is tender.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top before baking. Adjust the amount of honey based on your sweetness preference. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
