Ingredients
  

  • 1 batch pizza dough See recipe link
  • ¾ cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese or a mix with provolone cheese
  • 15 slices pepperoni
  • cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped, more for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey See recipe link

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 550°F or the highest temperature your oven can go.
  • Dust the pizza dough with a little flour and stretch into a 14 inch circle with a 1 inch crust slightly thicker.
  • If using a pizza steel/stone, place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper placed on a pizza peel or upside-down baking sheet.
  • Spread marinara sauce on the pizza, leaving 1 inch around the sides for the crust.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with fresh basil and dollop teaspoons full on the pizza.
  • Bake the pizza for 10 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned and crust is golden.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle with hot honey.
