  • 8 ounces Fresh mushrooms Cremini or button mushrooms
  • 4 cloves Garlic Freshly minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a velvety texture
  • 1 cup Chicken broth For depth of flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing

Cooking Steps

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  • Flip the chicken and cook briefly, then set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté diced mushrooms and minced garlic until brown and fragrant for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Add chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan, then stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer until thick.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook for another 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
