Ingredients
  

Plantain Mixture

  • 1 piece green plantain
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon sazón can be homemade

Preparation Steps

  • Peel your plantain and cut it in half. Grate your plantain using the smallest holes side. Add salt and sazón to the plantain dough and mix until uniform.
  • Place a couple of drops of oil onto your hands to prevent sticking. Take 2 scoops of the dough and shape it into small balls. Freeze for 10 minutes to firm up.
  • After removing the balls from the freezer, add them to your soup and cook for 15 minutes over high heat, or boil in a medium-sized pan with water for 15 minutes until firm. Serve and enjoy!
