Ingredients
  

  • ½ avocado avocado 75 grams of flesh
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries wild (140 grams)
  • 1 large banana ripe, about 140 grams when peeled
  • ¾ cup milk of choice + more if needed
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup optional
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients, except the maple syrup, in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste and add maple syrup, if needed. It can be a bit gritty when the blueberries are still frozen. If it’s gritty, continue blending.

Notes

If you used wild blueberries, your smoothie won’t turn brown as it sits over time. If using cultivated blueberries and not consuming right away, cover to prevent browning. Sweetener may be needed for cultivated blueberries.
