Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until fully combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir just until combined; do not overmix.
  • Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Arrange the sliced bananas over the batter in an even layer.
  • Spoon dollops of the cream cheese over the bananas, then gently spread the remaining batter on top.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
